Trident Corporate Volunteer Council's Quarterly Meeting

From 11:30-1:00 p.m., Trident United Way will be hosting its Corporate Volunteer Council's Quarterly Meeting. Volunteer with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors at East Cooper Meals on Wheels

 The Center for Women's Panel Discussion

Association of Fundraising Professionals' National Philanthropy Day Luncheon

On Thursday, Association of Fundraising Professionals will host its annual National Philanthropy Day Luncheon from 12-2 p.m. Not only will an outstanding individual, business, and community organization be recognized for their distinguished community service, but Mr. Marc Chardon, President and CEO of Blackbaud, Inc., will be featured as the keynote speaker. Habitat for Humanity Build Day

With projects in Charleston, Dorchester, and East Cooper, everyone can get involved in building affordable housing for Lowcountry families in need.  From 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m., volunteers are needed at all three sites. Coastal Community Foundation's 2012 Donor Celebration

 To honor the generosity of their donors, Coastal Community Foundation will host its annual Donor Celebration from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Riviera Theater at Charleston Place Hotel. The 2012 winner of the Malcolm Haven Award for Selfless Community Giving, Henry J. Blackford, III, will also be recognized of his dedicated service to the Charleston community.  Limited reservations are available.  

Charleston Magazine's 2012 Giving Back Awards

Come and celebrate Charleston's vibrant nonprofit sector at the 2012 Giving Back Awards!  Not only will businesses, individuals, and nonprofits be highlighted for their philanthropic work, but attendees will also enjoy entertainment by Charleston Jazz Orchestra and singers Quiana Parler and Leah Suarez.  Red carpet arrivals will begin at 7 p.m., directly followed by the awards presentation at 8 p.m.  The event will be held at Charleston Music Hall.  For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit Charleston Magazine's website.

 Keep North Charleston Beautiful

 From 9 a.m.- 12 p.m., volunteers are needed to work in the Butterfly Garden at Park Circle in North Charleston. Partcipants will assist in the maintenance of this community garden by picking up trash and doing some light landscaping. Organized by Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, volunteers can sign up here.
